这几天和朋友闲聊的时候就嚷嚷着要一起总结下年度专辑，本想直接在我的豆列里整理的，结果发现还不如重新弄个包含下载的list=。= 冬天的第一场病在家休息，刚好有时间。

前作「虹色のトンネルを越えて」から約半年ぶりとなるニューアルバムがついにリリース！タイトル曲「やわらかい日」は2004年から温めてきたという知る 人ぞ知る木箱の隠れた名曲。今作は木箱のサウンドでは初めて登場した琴をフィーチャーし、煌びやかな日本美を感じさせる作品となっている。イントロはしっ とりとしたやわらかいインストゥルメント。サビでは迫力のあるトラックとＳＡｙＡの優しくも存在感溢れるヴォーカルが重なり響き、アウトロでは壮大なスト リングスが感動を呼び覚ます。「やわらかい日」で華やかに離陸し、ゆっくりと空を飛ぶ。いつしか、目の前には虹。カップリング曲は季節に芽吹く心の音色。 静かに、鮮やかに、それらは育って行く。春から初夏へ。札幌を代表するエレクトロニカユニット『木箱』が送る、約15分の遊覧飛行。

Multifaceted singer-songwriter, performance/installation artist and poet, Katiejane Garside found fame (and chart success) as the singer with the influential early-Nineties indie band Daisychainsaw, issuing a number of singles before disbanding, after which Garside reunited with ex-Daisychainsaw member Crispin Gray to form QueenAdreena. Since then she has collaborated with a diverse collection of musicians (members of the Sugarcubes, Mínus, Hector Zazou to name but a few). Most recently Katiejane has been recording and touring as part of Ruby Throat. With a bipolar folk noir soundscape, the poetry of a slow unravel, and the ghost of a barren desert blues, Ruby Throat offers an experience of emotional fragility.
